Terms of Service
Version 2026-11-03 · Effective 3 November 2026 · Wize Data (Business Name Reg. No. 9684170)
In shortYou are buying services from a reseller. Wallet money is spent only on purchases. Virtual numbers, emails and eSIMs are for lawful use only, are temporary, and we cannot promise a given app will accept them or send a code. SMS and Email orders that deliver nothing are refunded automatically; rentals and delivered eSIMs are final. Fraud, scams and misuse against banks or government sites lead to closure and a report to the authorities. Our liability is limited, as set out in Section 19. Nothing here removes rights the law gives you.

1. About us and these Terms
WizeData (wizedata.com.ng) is operated by Wize Data, a business registered in Nigeria under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 (Business Name Registration No. 9684170), with its principal place of business at 162 Upper Umuebu Road, Close to Mountain of Fire, Obiaruku, Delta State, Nigeria ("we", "us").
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and us. They include our Privacy Policy, our KYC & Abuse Policy and, if you use our API or resell our services, our Reseller & API Terms. If these documents conflict, the more specific one applies to that subject.
You accept these Terms when you create an account, tick the acceptance box in the app, fund your wallet, use our API, or place an order, whichever happens first. You agree that our electronic records of your acceptance (including date, time, version and device details) and of your orders and messages are admissible evidence under the Evidence Act 2011 and other applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Definitions
- Services: everything we offer, including airtime, data, cable TV, electricity, exam and recharge pins, identity lookups, Social Media Boost (SMM), the Book Store, Airtime to Cash, and the Virtual Number Services.
- Virtual Number Services: SMS numbers (USA and other countries), temporary email addresses, rented numbers and travel eSIMs, and related tools such as My Numbers.
- Supplier: any network operator, aggregator, telecom carrier, eSIM provider, number or email provider, payment partner or other third party that supplies or processes part of a Service.
- Third-Party Platform: any website, app or service (for example WhatsApp, Telegram, Google, a bank or a government portal) that you try to verify, register with or use with a virtual number, email or eSIM.
- Wallet: your prepaid balance with us, in Naira.
3. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. We do not offer the Services to children.
- You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. One person, one account. Do not open accounts for others without their permission, and do not use false or another person's identity.
- You are responsible for your password, transaction PIN and API key, and for everything done with them. Tell us immediately if you suspect misuse. We are not liable for loss caused by your failure to keep them secret.
- We may ask you to verify your identity at any time (see our KYC & Abuse Policy) and may limit or refuse any Service until you do.
- We may refuse, suspend or close any account where we reasonably believe the law, these Terms or the safety of other users requires it.
4. Our role as a reseller
We resell services that are supplied by Suppliers we do not own or control. We therefore depend on them. Delays, outages, stock shortages, price changes, quality problems and failures that originate with a Supplier or a Third-Party Platform are outside our control. We will use reasonable efforts to resolve issues, and where a purchase fails we will refund it as set out in Sections 7 and 13. We do not give any warranty about the availability, speed or quality of any Supplier's service.
5. Wallet and payments
- You fund your Wallet through the payment methods shown on the platform. Payment partners may charge their own fees and may require you to be verified.
- Every purchase is debited from your Wallet when you confirm it. The price shown to you before you confirm is the price you pay. If a price changes before you confirm, we show you the new price first.
- Your Wallet is a prepaid balance for buying Services. It is not a bank account, savings or deposit product, it earns no interest, and we are not a bank or a licensed payment service provider. Wallet funds are used only to buy Services and are not withdrawable as cash, except where we expressly say so or the law requires it.
- You must check every detail before you confirm an order (phone and meter numbers, smartcard numbers, links, usernames, the app and country you choose for a virtual number, the eSIM plan and destination). We are not responsible for loss caused by details you entered or chose wrongly.
- We may correct pricing or system errors, including by reversing a transaction made at an obvious error price. Our records of your Wallet and orders are conclusive unless you show a clear error.
6. Prices
Prices depend on your account type (User, Agent or Vendor) and on our Suppliers, and we may change them at any time. A price change never affects an order you have already confirmed. Quoted estimates (for example prices marked "~") are confirmed on the screen before you pay.
7. Virtual Number Services: special terms
Please read this section carefully. It limits what we promise and what we are responsible for.
What you are buying
- SMS numbers: temporary access to a phone number, in the country you choose, to receive SMS messages (such as one verification code) for the app you select. The number is receive-only: you cannot call or send messages from it.
- Temporary email: temporary access to an email address to receive a message (such as a verification code) from the service you select.
- Rented number: access to a number for the rental period you choose. When the period ends your access ends and the number may be reassigned to someone else.
- Travel eSIM: a digital SIM profile with a data plan for the destination and period you choose, installed by QR code or activation text on a compatible phone.
- You never own the number, email address, eSIM profile or the account at the Supplier. You receive only a limited, temporary, non-transferable right to use it as described. Numbers and email addresses may previously have been used by others.
No guarantee
- We do not guarantee that a Third-Party Platform will accept a number, email address or eSIM, that a message or code will be sent or arrive in time, or that an account will be created, verified or kept. Third-Party Platforms often block or reject virtual numbers; that is their decision and not our failure.
- We are not responsible for any ban, restriction, suspension, loss of access, loss of data, locked two-factor authentication, lost funds or lost account arising from the use of a virtual number, email address or eSIM, including after a rental ends or a number is reassigned.
- Do not use a virtual number or email for any account you cannot afford to lose, including bank, wallet, exchange, social-media, business, government or primary two-factor accounts.
- Messages received on a number or email may be visible to our Suppliers and may contain other people's information. Do not use these services for anything sensitive.
- eSIM: coverage, speed and quality are provided by the mobile network, not by us. Your phone must support eSIM and be network-unlocked. Plans have a data allowance and a validity period shown at purchase; unused data does not carry over unless the plan says so. An eSIM profile can usually be installed once only: keep the install code private and do not share it. You must follow the laws and the rules of the network of every country where you use the eSIM.
Refunds for Virtual Number Services
- SMS numbers and temporary email: if no code or message arrives before the order expires, or if you cancel while the order is still waiting and cancellation is allowed, your Wallet is refunded automatically. Cancellation is not available straight away (currently email: after 2 minutes; numbers from other countries: after 6 minutes). Once a code has arrived the order is complete and final.
- Rentals are final once the number is issued. They cannot be cancelled or refunded, and are never renewed automatically. A renewal you request is also final.
- eSIM: if the Supplier cannot issue the eSIM you are refunded automatically. Once an eSIM has been issued it is final and cannot be cancelled or refunded, including if you did not install it, installed it on an incompatible phone, or no longer travel. A top-up is also final once applied.
- If a Supplier's reply is unclear we may hold the order for a short time while we confirm the outcome with the Supplier, and then deliver it or refund it.
Where a virtual number or email may not be used
You must not use any Virtual Number Service to register, verify or access an account with a bank, microfinance bank, payment provider, fintech, crypto exchange, loan or investment platform, government or public-authority website, or any service that legally requires you to prove your own real identity, and you must not use it to defraud affiliate, referral or bonus programmes. See Section 9.
8. Account and API keys for developers
If you use our API or resell our services you must also accept the Reseller & API Terms.
9. Acceptable use and prohibited conduct
Zero tolerance. Serious misuse leads to immediate closure and a report to law enforcement.
You must not use the Services, or allow anyone else to use your account, to:
- commit or help commit fraud, scams, phishing, advance-fee fraud, romance or investment scams, identity theft, impersonation, money laundering, terrorist financing or any other offence under Nigerian law or the law of any country where you act;
- create, verify or recover accounts in someone else's name, or with false or stolen identity details; or bypass the identity (KYC), age, security or anti-fraud checks of any Third-Party Platform;
- work with the websites or services of banks, government bodies or financial institutions, or to defraud or abuse affiliate, referral, promotional or bonus programmes;
- create bulk, fake or duplicate accounts, evade a ban or block, manipulate votes, reviews, ratings or engagement, or send spam or unsolicited messages;
- harass, threaten, stalk or defraud any person; or publish, distribute or facilitate child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, hate or incitement to violence;
- buy or sell illegal goods or services, including drugs, weapons or stolen data;
- attack, probe, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the platform, its Wallet, its API or its suppliers, or resell the Services in breach of the Reseller & API Terms;
- use stolen cards or accounts, pay by a chargeback and keep the service, or place and reverse orders to farm cashback or referral rewards;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy, or breach a Third-Party Platform's own terms in a way that exposes us to claims;
- do anything else that is unlawful or that, in our reasonable opinion, harms us, our Suppliers or other users.
You must also follow any additional rules our Suppliers require us to pass on to you, such as rules against using their services with government websites, banks or affiliate programmes.
10. What we may do if you break the rules
If we suspect or confirm a breach of these Terms or the law, we may, immediately and without prior notice where the risk is serious: warn you; refuse, delay or cancel any order; restrict, suspend or close your account; restrict or freeze your Wallet, Cashback, Cash Referral and Airtime Earnings balances while we investigate; reclaim rewards obtained by abuse; recover our losses from you; and keep any amount that represents the proceeds of unlawful activity or our losses caused by it, returning the remainder to you subject to the law and any court or regulator order.
We will report suspected crimes to the Nigeria Police Force, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit and other competent authorities, and we will cooperate with lawful requests, court orders and investigations, including by disclosing account, transaction, device and message information to them. We may also share information with Suppliers, payment partners and banks to prevent or investigate fraud. We may not be allowed to tell you about a report or request. Details are in our KYC & Abuse Policy.
11. Cashback
- Cashback, where offered, is a discretionary reward credited to your account based on eligible purchases, at a rate we set that may differ by service category. We may introduce, change, suspend or withdraw Cashback, or any rate, at any time without notice. It is a promotional benefit and not a contractual entitlement, interest or guaranteed return.
- Cashback already credited is not reversed because of a later change; future Cashback follows the updated terms. Cashback may be moved to your main Wallet at any time, subject to any minimum shown on the platform. Cashback is paid on delivered orders, not on orders that are cancelled, expired or refunded.
- Cashback obtained by fraud, referral abuse or order manipulation may be reclaimed and the account suspended.
12. Cash Referral
Cash Referral is separate from Cashback and is available only to accounts we designate as eligible, at our sole discretion. Eligible accounts earn a percentage of the profit generated by purchases of people they directly referred, credited to a dedicated Cash Referral balance.
- Withdrawals are paid by bank transfer. You must save accurate bank details first (bank, account number and account name). We are not responsible for funds sent to wrong details you provided.
- Each withdrawal is confirmed with your transaction PIN and is for your full available Cash Referral balance. It must meet the minimum shown on the platform and is reviewed and paid manually, with no guaranteed processing time. We are not liable for delays caused by your bank or others outside our control.
- We may change, suspend or end Cash Referral, a person's eligibility, the percentage or the minimum at any time without notice. It is a promotional benefit, not a guaranteed income.
- We may ask for more verification, and may delay, decline or reverse a withdrawal where self-referral, fake or duplicate accounts or other abuse is suspected or confirmed.
- You are responsible for any tax on your earnings under Nigerian law.
13. Refund policy for other Services
- Where a purchase fails because of a fault on our side or a confirmed Supplier error, the amount is refunded to your Wallet, normally within 24 hours (automatic refunds for failed orders are usually immediate).
- Airtime, data, cable TV, electricity, pin-based purchases and completed identity lookups that deliver successfully are final.
- Social Media Boost (SMM) orders cannot be cancelled or refunded after 10 minutes from the time of order, because they are processed by third-party providers almost immediately. Check the link or username, quantity and details before you confirm.
- Book Store purchases are digital and final once the book is in your Library (see Section 15). Completed Airtime to Cash conversions are final (see Section 16).
- No refund is due for wrong details you supplied (wrong number, link, meter, smartcard, NIN/BVN, app, country or plan).
- Refunds go back to your Wallet unless the law requires another method.
Nothing in this section or these Terms limits any right you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any right to a refund, repair or replacement for services that are not provided with reasonable care and skill.
14. Social Media Marketing (SMM): additional terms
- SMM services are supplied by third-party providers and delivered against publicly accessible content for which you submit a link or username. Speed, start time and final quantity vary and are not guaranteed to an exact figure or time.
- Only submit links, usernames or content you own or have the right to promote. We are not responsible for any action a social platform takes against an account or content you submit (removal of engagement, takedown, restriction or suspension).
- See the 10-minute refund and cancellation window above.
15. Book Store: additional terms
- The Book Store offers digital books (EPUB books and PDF comics or illustrated guides) read inside the platform. Books are paid from your Wallet or free where marked, and are added to your Library.
- You buy a licence to read, not the file. You get personal, non-transferable access from your account. You must not copy, download, extract, redistribute, resell or share any book, or let others read from your account. A temporary copy kept on your device is for your own use only.
- Your reading progress, bookmarks and highlights are saved to your account.
- Right to remove books. We may unpublish, replace or delete any book at any time, including books you already bought or claimed, for reasons such as copyright or legal complaints, breach of these Terms, quality or licensing issues, or business decisions. A deleted book disappears from every Library together with the related progress, bookmarks and highlights. Removal does not by itself entitle you to a refund; any credit is at our discretion.
- We only publish books we are entitled to distribute and do not knowingly host pirated material. To report an infringement email us with the book title, its link and proof of your rights; we may remove the book promptly.
- Prices, free status and which account types can see, buy or read a book are set by us and may change. Sharing or scraping books or bypassing access controls may lead to account closure, loss of your Library and legal action.
16. Airtime to Cash: additional terms
- Airtime to Cash converts airtime from a supported network into cash credited to a separate Airtime Earnings balance. You give the network, sending number and amount and confirm with the one-time password (OTP) and the network transfer PIN. The rate for each network is set by us, shown before you confirm, and may change at any time. The rate shown when you confirm applies. Cashback does not apply.
- Before your first withdrawal you must save your name, bank, account number and an active phone number. You cannot change them yourself afterwards, so check them. We are not responsible for funds sent to details you provided. A withdrawal request shows as pending until reviewed; we may approve or decline it (a declined amount returns to your Airtime Earnings balance). Payouts are manual with no guaranteed timing.
- Only your own, lawfully obtained airtime. You must own the line or have the owner's permission. Stolen, hacked, cloned, SIM-swapped, charged-back, loaned or unpaid airtime is strictly prohibited. If we suspect or confirm it we may suspend or close your account, freeze, withhold or reverse any balance connected to it, recover amounts already paid, share your account, transaction and bank details with network operators, banks and law enforcement, and report you and cooperate in any prosecution.
- If a network or authority reverses, recalls, blocks or flags airtime you sent, we may reverse the related credit, deduct it from any balance, and recover from you what was already withdrawn. We may ask for identification or proof of line ownership before crediting or paying.
- Availability depends on networks and providers and we may suspend any network at any time. If a transfer does not complete, no credit is given. A confirmed conversion cannot be cancelled.
17. Identity lookups (NIN and BVN)
Identity lookups are offered only for lawful purposes with the authority of the person concerned. You must not look up someone else's NIN or BVN without their permission. We retrieve results through licensed third parties and are not responsible for the accuracy of the underlying records. Misuse is reported to the authorities.
18. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for any particular purpose, and we exclude all warranties and conditions that the law allows us to exclude. We do not control and are not responsible for the content of messages, emails or data that third parties send to a virtual number, email address or eSIM.
19. Limitation of liability
Important. This section limits what you can claim from us.
- To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims arising from or connected with the Services is limited to the amount you actually paid for the specific transaction that gave rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data, accounts or opportunity, even if we were told it might happen.
- We are not liable for loss or delay caused by Suppliers, network operators, Third-Party Platforms, payment partners, power or internet failures, acts of government or regulators, or any other event beyond our reasonable control.
- We are not liable for what you or anyone using your account does with a virtual number, email address or eSIM, or for the consequences of a Third-Party Platform's decisions.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any right you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 or other mandatory law.
20. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Wize Data, its owner, employees, agents and Suppliers from claims, losses, fines, penalties, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your breach of these Terms or the law; your use or misuse of the Services, including any virtual number, email address or eSIM; anything done through your account or API key; and your violation of any third party's rights or a Third-Party Platform's rules.
21. Intellectual property
All content, trademarks, logos, designs, interfaces, code and software on the platform belong to Wize Data or its licensors. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for personal or legitimate business use. You must not copy, scrape, reproduce, reverse-engineer or distribute any part of it without our written permission.
22. Privacy and records
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. We keep transaction and verification records for the periods required by Nigerian law, and we may be required to disclose them to the authorities.
23. Complaints and disputes
- Talk to us first. Email support@wizedata.com.ng or message us on WhatsApp 09065848571 with your order reference. We aim to reply within 2 working days and to resolve complaints within 14 days.
- If we cannot resolve it, you may use the courts of Nigeria and you keep your right to complain to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission or any other regulator.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting your statutory rights.
24. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with its date and version number, and for material changes we will ask you to accept the new version in the app before your next purchase. If you keep using the Services after a change takes effect, you accept it. Changes never reduce your right to a refund for an order made before the change.
25. General
- If any part of these Terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the part is replaced by the nearest lawful term.
- Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours to a successor to our business.
- These Terms are the whole agreement about their subject and replace earlier versions. Notices to you may be given by email, in-app message or on the platform, and notices to us by email to the address below.
